STONE MASSAGE

terapy STONE AND STONE MASSAGE
UNDER 'AND PROPERTIES'

origins this practice are traced to the American Indians, who resorted to the use of smooth stones heated in the sun or with hot water. The use of hot stones in the care of the imbalances is also detectable in China. The hot stones are placed on specific areas of the body's energy, equivalent to the Chinese acupuncture points, or on specific areas called chakras physiology in the traditional Indian.

Today the stone massage is popular among the well-being and is finding favor with the public at large. The stones used are of volcanic origin, rich in quartz because it can retain heat for a long.

addition to being kept still on the areas of energy, are also used to perform a massage on the body by sliding them, anointing them with special warm oils enriched with essences.

The general action is exhilarating, thanks to the heat, thus improving circulation, stimulating the skin and eliminate toxins. In this case the action is varied with the temperature of the stones, areas of intervention, the pressure, the type of oil used.

The size of the stones varies according to body areas on which we act: as big as the palm of your hand to the areas corresponding to the chakras, until the size of an olive when it is placed between the toes or hands, or in small areas of the body.
